The preset sound fi eld is cleared when this mode is activated. Use
this mode before returning the product to clients upon completion
of repair.
Procedure:

1.  While pressing the

button to turn on the main power.

2.  The message “S.F. CLR.” appears and initialization is
 performed.

SOFTWARE VERSION DISPLAY MODE
The software version is displayed.
Procedure:

1.  While pressing the

buttons simultaneously, press the power 

 button to 

turn on the main power.

2.  The model name, destination and the software version are
 displayed.

KEY CHECK MODE

Procedure:

1.  While pressing the

buttons simultaneously, press the power 

 button to 

turn on the main power. 

 

“REST 08” appears.

2.  Every pressing of any button other than 

 counts down

 

the buttons. The buttons which are already counted once 
are not counted again.

3.  When all buttons are pressed “REST 00” appears.

FLUORESCENT INDICATOR TUBE TEST MODE
All fl uorescent segments are tested. When this test is activated, all
segments turn on at the same time, then each segment turns on 
one after another.
Procedure:

1.  While pressing the 

 and the 

 

buttons simultaneously, press the power 

 

button to 

turn on the main power.

2.  All segments turn on.

3.  Turn the 

 knob.

4.  Turn the 

 knob once again.

5.  Turn the 

 knob once again. All 

segments turn off.

6.  Every turning of the 

 knob turns on 

each segment one after another in the same order.

7. Press 

 or 

 to release test mode.

SWAP ALL MODE
The signal will be swapped to all channels so that all speakers 
will have sound output.
Procedure:

1.  While pressing the 

and the 

 buttons

 

simultaneously, press the power 

 button to turn on the 

main power.

2.  “DSP TEST” appears.
3.  After pressing 

 button of remote commander 

“9_DSPTST” appears.

4.  Press  

b  to enter the DSP test mode menu.

5.  Press  

v  twice to enter swap mode. “SWP.AUTO” appears.

6.  Press  

b  twice again to select “SWP.ALL”.

7.  Power off the set to release test mode.

All preset contents are reset to the default setting.
Procedure:

1.  While pressing the 

 and the

simultaneously, press the power 

 button to turn on the

 

main power.

2.  After “CLEARING” appears, “CLEARED” appears and 

switch off the set.

3.  xx indicates number of times set powered on.
4.   Press any button or power off the set to release test mode.

AM CHANNEL STEP 9 kHz/10 kHz 
SELECTION MODE (US, CND)
Either the 9 kHz step or 10 kHz step can be selected for the AM
channel step.
Procedure:

1.  Set the FUNCTION to AM. Turn off the main power.
2.  While pressing the 

 button, press the power

 

 button to turn on the main power.

3.  Either the message “9 k STEP” or “10 k STEP” appears. 

Select the desired step.

VACS CONTROL TEST MODE
The VACS feature of the amplifi er is turned off purposely.
Procedure:

1.  While pressing the 

 and the 

 

buttons simultaneously, press the power 

 button to 

turn on the main power.

2.  “VACS OFF” appears (8 second).
3.  Power off the set to release test mode.
