No picture E-E signal. (by pass)

Is picture signal input into the pins(31) and (32) of IC201?

Check the line between pin(24) of TU101 and pin(31) of IC201.
Check the line between external video input terminal (J201) and 
pin(31) of IC201.
Check the line betweem video input terminal and pin(28) of IC201.

Is picture signal outputted to the pin(52) of IC201?

Check the line between pins(63) and (62) of IC201 
and all the way up thru to pins(84) and (85) of IC701.

Is picture signal output to the emitter of video output buffer 
(Q251)?

 Line output: Check video output buffer(Q251) peripheral and output terminal periphery.

 RF output: Check video output buffer(Q251) peripheral and video input terminal of RF converter periphery.

Is supply voltage of 5V(Y-Vcc) fed to the pin(12) of IC201?

Check the PC 5V line.

Is there Y/C serial data and Y/C signal clock applied 
to the pins(63) and (62) of IC201?

Check peripheral circuit of Q251.

Picture (Luminance) record is impossible (E-E mode is possible).

Although picture record is possible, color does not appear in PAL or NTSC mode (E-E mode is possible).

Is luminance signal (approx. 0.5Vp-p) 
input to the pin(19) of IC201?

Is luminance signal (approx. 0.3Vp-p) 
input to the pin(42) of IC201?

Is luminance signal (approx. 0.5Vp-p) 
input to the pin(26) of IC201?

Is luminance signal (approx. 0.5Vp-p)

Is voltage 5V applied to the chroma section 
power terminal at pin(61) of IC201?

Is chroma signal (approx. 143mVp-p/
burst) input into the pin(46) of IC201?

Is chroma signal (approx. 180mVp-p/
burst) input in the pin(58) of IC201?

Check peripheral of pin(61) of IC201 
and PC 5V line.

<For NTSC mode.>
Check whether the pins(73) and (71) of 
IC201 oscillate 3.58MHz?

<For PAL/MESECAM mode.>
Check whether the pins(73) and (75) of 
IC201 oscillate 4.43MHz?

Is chroma signal (approx. 180mVp-p/
burst) output to the pin(35) of IC201?

<For NTSC mode.>
Check peripheral parts of X501.

<For PAL/MESECAM mode.>
Check peripheral parts of X502.

Check line ranging from pins (31),(30) of
IC1701 (NICAM/GR), to the each input
terminal of IC2501.

Check PC 5V and  Hi-Fi 9V lines.

Is the supply voltage of PC 5V fed to pins(24),
(40) and 9V fed to pin (58) of IC651?

Is there audio signal inputted at each input
terminal as shown in table?

Check line between pin (11) of IC201 and
pin (62) of IC651

Is there "L" level at pin(8) of IC651?.

Check line between pin (8) of IC651 and
pin (21) of IC701

Replace  IC651.

Line output terminal 
Check line ranging from pins (59) and (53) of IC651 to pins (2) and (1) of IC2501.

RF output terminal 
Check line ranging from pin (59)  of IC651 to the audio input terminal of tuner TU101.

Replace IC651.

Is there a REC FM signal outputted 
at the IC651 pins(29) to (24) (CH-1) 
/pins (21) to (22)(CH-2).

Check PC 5V lines.

Check  the AGC setting resistor R678

Check peripheral circuit of IC651 as
shown in table.

L-ch pins (16),(17),(18),(19)

R-ch pins (32),(33),(34),(35)

Check AH-MZ harness.

Check or replace the cylinder.

Is the supply voltage of 5V fed to pin

Is there "L" level at pin (36) of IC651?

Replace IC651.

Is there playback envelope signal out
putted at pins(29) to (30) of IC651?

Check PC 5V lines.

Is there A-H.SW.P. signal at 
pin (27) of IC651?

Check peripheral circuit of IC651 as
shown in table.

Is the supply voltage of 5V fed to pin 
(25) of IC651?

Check the A-H.SW.P. line between pin 
(27) of IC651 and pin (28) of IC701.

Check the AUDIO MUTE (H) line 
between pin (99) of IC201 and pin 
(81) of IC701.

Is there signal at pin (4) of IC201?

Replace IC201.

Is  the supply voltage of 12V fed to
pin (2) of T601?

Check M 12V line.

Is there signal (Bias) at pin (5) of T601?

Check the Bias oscillation circuit (T601,
Q602,Q603) and A-ERASE CTL line.

Is "L" level applied at pin(99) of 
IC201?

Check peripheral circuits of T601.

Check the MH-AA harness and A/C
head.

Is there signal (Bias + Audio sig)
 at pin (6) of T601?
