SYMPTOM Intermittent reception of the NICAM signal ( unit switches to mono sound ).  In
the fault condition, the NICAM OSD will come on.
CAUSE
VCR is sensitive to poor signal strength.
ACTION
If fine tuning does not cure the symptom, then fit a 22pF capacitor from pin 16
of IC1701 to ground.
