Subject : Defective remote control
SYMPTOM The remote control functions as if the door is open even when door is closed.
CAUSE
Remote control door switch is not central in its recess.
ACTION
1.
Remove the batteries and two small crosshead screws from the back of the remote
control unit.
2.
Carefully prise the two halves of the remote control unit apart.
3.
Slacken the four screws holding the PWB in place.
4.
Adjust the PWB to enable the door switch to be centralised in its recess.
5.
Re-assemble the remote control unit and test.
