CHAPTER 5. 
ADJUSTMENT PROCEDURE
[1] ADJUSTMENT PROCEDURE
1. Adjustment method after PWB and/or IC replacement due to repair
㵘㵘The unit is set to the optimum at the time of shipment from the factory. If any value should become improper or any adjustment
㵘㵘is necessary due to the part replacement, make an adjustment according to the following procedure.
1. Procure the following units in order to replace the main unit, IC2003, IC4106, IC4105, IC5304, or IC4104.
㵘㵘 MAIN UNIT: DUNTKE784FE01
NOTE: [Caution when replacing ICs in the main unit (IC2003/IC4106/IC4105/IC5304/IC4104)
㵘㵘㵘The above ICs are EEPROMs storing the EDID data of HDMI and the sub microcomputer. Before replacing the relevant part,
㵘㵘㵘procure the following parts in which the data have been rewritten.

2. After replacing the LCD panel or LCD control UNIT, check PANEL_SIZE in the following procedure.
㵘1) Enter the process adjustment mode in AVC.
㵘2) Use the cursor keys(
)and P keys (
㺢/㺣) of R/C to select the item [PANEL_SIZE] on the page 16/16.
㵘3) Verify that the panel size is displayed.
㵘4) If the size doesn't match, select the values of the panel size with the VOL(+/-) keys.
㵘5) After selection in Step 4), press the OK key, and it is completed with OK displayed.

㵘Press the "MAIN POWER" key of the monitor side while operating with the AVC and monitor both machines, and make the set
under operation off once.
2.
㵘While holding down the 㵱INPUT㵱 and 㵰VOL(-)㵱 keys o䌦 the monitor side at the same time. Press the "MAIN POWER"key o䌦 the
monitor side to turn on the power.
The letter "K" appears on the upper left of the screen in white.
3. Next, hold down the
㵰VOL (-)㵱 and 㵰P (V)㵱 keys o䌦 the monitor side at once.
Multiple lines of blue character string appearing on the screen indicate that the set is now in the adjustment Process mode.
If you fail to enter the adjustment process mode (the display is the same as normal startup), retry the procedure.
4. To exit the adjustment process mode after the adjustment is done, unplug the AC power cord of AVC side to force off the power.
: Use due care in handling the information described here lest the users should know how to enter the adjustment process mode.
If the settings are tampered with in this mode, unrecoverable system damage may result.
