REASON 
Change of Power Unit. 
 
ACTION 
We have changed the Power Unit. You can identify the new part by referring to the 
information on page 2. 
 
 
If the ceramic capacitor C7817 / C7818 in the power unit becomes defective, the 
power of the TV set does not turn on (The Centre Icon flashes twice). To prevent this 
from occurring, the following component parts have been changed in the power unit. 
 
The ceramic capacitors C7817 / C7818 are changed from 1000pF/1kV to 470pF/1kV 
type. With this change, the ferrite beads FB7803/FB7805 are also changed to the 
jumper to avoid noise due to the decline of the capacity of the C7817/C7818. 
 
There is no change of the parts code for the power unit.  
For the details of change in the NEW power unit, please refer to the next page of this 
technical report.
