Requirements
Before you can use the features of your DLNA
®
certified Sharp product, ensure you have the
following equipment:
Wired Home Network
• Router or Switch – Recommend 1 gigabit when streaming video

A PC with DLNA

compliant software (i.e. Windows 7) or a DLNA

certified NAS
(Network
Attached Storage)
• Administration rights to the PC or NAS
• Ethernet cable – cross or straight

• Sharp Quattron Series – LCxxLE820E, LCxxLE821E, LCxxLE822E and LCxxLE925E

Connectivity
The Ethernet port is located on the rear side of your Sharp Quattron.
Simply plug your Ethernet cable into this port.

You have 2 options when connecting your Sharp Quattron to your DLNA
®
network:
• Connect your home network to the Sharp Quattron as provided in the example on page
4 of this DLNA® Handy Guide.
You need to use a “straight through” type CAT5 Ethernet cable to link the Sharp
Quattron to your router or switch.

• Directly connect your Sharp Quattron to a NAS or PC with Windows 7 installed.
When you directly connect 2 devices, you need to use a “crossover” type CAT5 Ethernet

The following instructions describe how to share media from a PC with Windows 7
