set an audio output format compatible with 
the pr

connected.
Go to “MENU” > “SOUND” > “SPDIF Mode” 
> select “PCM” or “Dolby Digital”.
NOTE
When you set this to “Dolby Digital”, and you r
eceive 
the Dolby Digital or Dolby Digital Plus audio formats, 
Dolby Digital audio is output. Otherwise, PCM audio is 
output.
When you set this to “PCM”, PCM audio is output no 
matter what audio formats you r
eceive.

Inserting the batteries
Befor
e using the TV for the first time, insert two supplied “AA” size zinc-carbon batteries. When the batteries become 
depleted and the r
emote contr
ol unit fails to operate, r
eplace the batteries with new “AA” size batteries.
