The production of the P panel had been discontinued. Since the November 2003
production, the V panel is used instead. Accordingly, we have been supplying the V panel
as service part.
Note that if the V panel is employed to an old P-panel-equipped product, some other parts
must also be replaced. In such case, follow the instructions below.
The marked label is put on the model label of the set used V panel.(see page 2)

When the above V type panel is newly fitted in at servicing, take the following points.

When the above V type panel is newly fitted in at servicing, take the following points.

Change the gradation voltage and QS drive threshold: Modify the EEPROM IC2003 data,

Replace the existing QS drive device (IC4704/4904) with the above new one.
•
Replace the four optical sheets.
•
Finally make the video adjustment that is common after the panel has been replaced.
