2. GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF PRODUCT
The low-reflection black TFT liquid crystal used in the liquid crystal display provides high-contrast images
even in a bright room. The newly developed high-efficiency backlight enables high-luminance display, leading
to higher image quality. In addition, the full-range front double speaker realizes high sound quality such as
clear tones and powerful bass.
The life of the lamp used is as long as 60,000 hours. Environment-conscious designs (recycling, material
selection, etc.) and energy-saving designs have been incorporated in this product. In place of the conven-
tional mechanical appearance design of LCD televisions, this product realizes a decorative appearance de-
sign with the integral-type carrying handle, emphasized speaker section, etc.

(1) High-quality image
A high-definition TFT LCD panel of 921,600 dots (Vertical 480 x Horizontal 640 x 3) is employed.

(3) High sound quality
The 5-cm speaker unit employing a newly developed injection damper (note) that enables large power input in
spite of the small bore diameter and the closed type enclosure make it possible to reproduce bass of 100 Hz. In
addition, 7-point equalizing realizes broadband and well-balanced frequency characteristics and provides high

(5) Environmentally sensitive technology
The power consumption of 20' LC-20B2H/M is as low as 43.

means that it can be used for about 10 years even if the TV is on for 16 hours per day.
The adoption of halogen material, the unification of fire retardant grade, the adoption of a stand 30% of which is
made from reworked material, the abolition of foam polystyrene and the construction design taking disassembling
into account have greatly reduced the load on the environment.
