Subject : Alternative Audio PWB
REASON
From serial No. 712161 the following improvements have been incorporated in the Audio
circuit:
1.
A single IC circuit for the Audio PWB is fitted.
2.
Jumper J128 has been removed
3.
IC100 (EPROM) has been programmed with alternative software to suit the audio
PWB.
4.
IC104 (NVM) has been programmed with alternative software to suit the audio
PWB.
ACTION
1.
When replacing any of the parts above, use the part numbers listed below.
2.
Circuit diagram for the single IC Audio PWB is shown in the DV5937H supplement
manual.
3.
Part numbers/Circuit Diagram for the three IC Audio PWB are shown in the
DV5935H service manual.
