SYMPTOM When the television is used with either a weak signal source or a VCR, the
colour may become intermitttent.
CAUSE
IC801 unable to resolve weak burst signal.
ACTION
1.  Fit a 470nF capacitor between pin 38 and ground of IC801.
2.  Change R814 to 120k.
