REASON
Selection of the correct NVM blanking jig.
ACTION
There are two types of blanking jig, they are suitable for each of the two types of
ROM/OTP (IC1002) device used in the above models, 27C4001 or 37VF040. Check
to see which is fitted before selecting the jig.
Another way to identify the type of IC1002, its that the 37VF040 works at 3.3V.  The
27C4001 works at 5V.
As a guide, chassis which are ‘copper clad’ on the top of the PWB use the 37VF040
memory device.
