White – Carry out as required

Yellow – Carry out as required and whenever the unit comes in for service

 Red – Carry out on all units

Changes  in  UK  law  now  classify  CRT's  as  Hazardous  Waste  and  as  such  you  are  required  to
dispose of them in an appropriate way.  Your local authority may no longer be prepared to deal with
used CRT's as they have done in the past.

Disposal of CRT's may therefore incur a cost.

For  televisions  where  the  CRT  has  failed  within  the  warranty  period,  we  have  made  provision  for
you to claim back a fixed allowance based on typical costs.

When  submitting  your  warranty  claim  on-line,  the  following  reference  can  selected  from  the
“Optional Miscellaneous” drop down menu and be added for payment to your claim. This is to cover
the cost of disposal where you have incurred a cost.

Payment will be made at a fixed rate of £20

We  may  request  a  copy  of  the  disposal  invoice  as  confirmation,  you  should  therefore  retain  it  for
your records.

Please note that, as with any spare part required for a warranty repair, all CRT's must be obtained
from our Spare Parts Centre.
