General
Vertical lines in the projected image may appear after repeatedly sending the commands
via RS-232C to the projector in standby mode.
Countermeasures
The vertical lines fade away with the passage of time while the projector is turned on.
However, it is considered that the replacement of LCD panels may be needed on the
situation of the vertical lines. Therefore, in order to avoid the vertical lines appearing, we
have changed the IC2601 to allow the below commands and made a supplement sheet for
explaining how to obtain the projector status in standby mode.
Command
Content
“POWR????”
Projector power status
“TLPS 1”
Lamp status
As for the units produced after the serial numbers above, the following changes have been
implemented.
• Change of IC2601
• Inserting of supplement sheet
Servicing
When the service is required from the customer with the above problem and if the projector
status needs to be repeatedly obtained in the standby mode, please change IC2601 as
shown in the page 2 and then explain to the customer how to obtain the projector status in
the standby mode as shown in the attached supplement sheet.
