No power (power indicator lights up orange).  Damaged data in the EEPROM located on
the F/E unit causes the problem.

Take the following steps:

1) Rewrite the firmware
2) Initialise the data in A/D converter

Note: For connecting the projector and PC, use the below RS-232C cable.

DOS/V compatible PC with Windows95 after ORS2 or Windows 98 or Windows98SE
RS-232C cable (9FU911302320)

1) Preparation before software re-writing.
a.  Disconnect the AC cord of the projector
b.  Connect one end of the RS-232C cable to the projector and connect other end to the

serial port of PC.

2) Re-writing the firmware
a.  Extract the supplied software (self-extracting file) to the optional folder on PC
b.  Open the folder "Pg-m10s" or "Pg-m10x"

For PGM10SE: "Pg-m10s"
For PGM10XE: "Pg-m10x"

c. 

Start up the FlashUpgrader (Application program for the firmware re-writing).

d. 

Then, the below window will appear.  Click on the "Next" button.

e.  Then, the below window will appear.  Click the "Browse" button.

f. 

Select a firmware file.
For PGM10SE: "Pixelware_sharp_svga"
For PGM10XE: "Pixelware_sharp_xga"

g.  After selecting the firmware filename, click on "Next".

h.  Select the serial port to be connected.
i. 

Set the Baud Rate to "57600".

j. 

Click the "Next button".

k.  Preparation is completed.
l. 

Connect the AC cord of the projector.  Then the re-writing of firmware starts
automatically.

m.  The below window will appear after the re-writing of firmware is completed.
n. Select 

"Finish".
