To install the version of the SharpFind software to take advantage of the new

OCR package; etc.

Minimum System
Specification:
Prior to installation of SharpFind V5, you must ensure that the system has
the following:

ZyImage version 5 involves uninstalling the old version application before

Stopping the ZyScan and ZyTimer services
Before backing up the data, these services need to be stopped to ensure

3. Uninstall ZyImage Version 4
This can be done either by running ZySweeper.Exe in the
C:\Program Files\ZyLab\ZyImage folder, or using the standard
Add/Remove Programs icon in the Control Panels. After ZyImage
has been removed the ZyImage Professional OCR Engine should
also be removed.

4. Install ZyImage version 5
4.1.
Insert the ZyImage 5 CD and run the Setup.exe file in the “v.5.0\Disk1” folder. You will see
the following start screen.
