Track Printing and Copying
PageControl Station™ is an advanced Ethernet-based network transaction
device that provides a highly cost-effective and flexible solution to track
both printing and copying transactions. With this device, Sharp introduces
a new level of convenience with the ability to accurately track walk-up
copying on either networked or stand-alone copiers.
PageControl Station easily connects into an organisation’s copier or
networked printer. It’s Ethernet l0Base-T connection uses the existing
network cabling to provide communications to and from the server. The
terminal display and keypad provide additional flexibility for user
identification or account selection for precise print security and copy
tracking.

complete solution for hardcopy cost allocation.

Integrated Copier Tracking
When using a copier equipped with PageControl Station, users must
authenticate themselves in order to operate the copier. For authentication
and to commence copying, the user needs only to enter a PIN code through
the keypad provided on the terminal. For added flexibility PageControl
Station provides an option for card-swipe functionality.
All copying activity monitored by the PageControl Station is recorded in
the PAS database, and is fully available for reporting, as well as for limiting
use in quota-based environments.
