If magnification adjustment and off-center adjustment for engine are performed by  

 

 

 

executing "BK-MAG ADJ" and "SETUP/PRINT ADJ" in Sim 50-28 while auto-centering  

 

 

 

adjustment is functioning, these features conflict each other that it may trigger off-center

3. Description:

There are two settings "SWT1" and "SWT2" in Sim 50-10. 

 

  

 

 Auto-centering feature is enabled if either one or both settings is set to "1".  
While auto-centering adjustment is enabled, paper transport position for the paper feeding 
option installed to a device is automatically detected. Then beginning position for writing by LSU 
is adjusted so that the images are printed on proper position.

If "SETUP/PRINT ADJ" (Print position adjustment for paper feed options) in Sim 50-28 is  

 

 

 

executed while auto-centering adjustment is enabled during the machine installation, the  

 

  

 

adjustment value is changed before print position is determined according the auto-centering  

 

 

 

adjustment. The print position may shift as soon as the auto-centering adjustment is executed. 

 

 

 

To avoid this problem, the value in "MAIN-**" and "SUB-**" in Sim 50-10 need to return to the  
default value. If it is necessary to adjust print position while auto-centering adjustment is 
enabled, change the value in ”MAIN-**” and ”SUB-**” in Sim 50-10. Print position is controlled 
based on  the set value while reflecting the auto-centering control. 

 

  

 

To adjust "BK-MAG ADJ" in Sim 50-10, it is necessary to follow the adjustment steps below and  

 

  

 

execute auto-centering adjustment again.
