1. Model Name: MX-M850/M950/M1100 
 
2. Symptom: 

By continuously feeding paper, the inside of the fusing drive unit will become hot, 
resulting in the pressure fit parts of the case and inside ring, the fusing rear torque 

limiter can become loose. This can cause the fusing rear torque limiter to slip 
causing a jam (FDSBD_NA, etc.). 
This can also be caused by the tolerance of the case inner diameter inside the 

fusing rear torque limiter being too small combined with the tolerance of the ring 
outer diameter being too big. 

 
3. Description:  To make the fusing rear torque limiter not slip, a peg has been added to the case 

inside the fusing read torque limiter and a hole, for the peg, has been added to the 
ring. 

This change, since it is on the inside of the fusing rear torque limiter, cannot be 
directly confirmed. 
Therefore, the following method will confirm whether it is a new or old version.
