1. The firmware version has been upgraded to support the 8.5" LCD made by CHIMEI. 
 
Note: The install procedure is attached so that you can deal with models that do not 
support the DSK firmware for the 8.5" LCD made by CHIMEI as supported 
models. Please use it for reference.

- Installation procedure for the 8.5" LCD made by CHIMEI 
 
1. This procedure contains the DSK firmware installation procedure for supported models when using the 
8.5" LCD made by CHIMEI with the MX-M623/M753 and the DSK firmware does not support the 8.5" 
LCD made by CHIMEI. 
Furthermore, the installation procedure is the same if the 8.5" LCD made by SHARP has been replaced 
by the 8.5" LCD made by CHIMEI and the DSK firmware does not support the 8.5" LCD made by 
CHIMEI. 
 
2. Store the emupdate_d3.sfu file which was released to the root folder in the USB memory. 
* Do not change the emupdate_d3.sfu file name. 
 
3. Insert the USB memory with the emupdate_d3.sfu file stored in step 2 into the main unit USB port. 
* Insert the USB memory only when the main unit power is OFF, once inserted turn the main unit power 
ON. 
 
4. After turning the power ON, if the firmware does not support the 8.5" LCD made by CHIMEI, the 
following error will be displayed. 
 
* No special operations are required until the firmware update is completed. 
 
 
 
5. After several seconds, the following screen acknowledging a conflict between the DSK BOOT and the 
COMMON MAIN will be displayed. 
* At this point the display will output. 
 
 
6. The USB memory check screen will be displayed. 
 
 
7. Emergency Update Mode will be displayed at the top of the panel. 
 
 
8. The firmware update installation status will be displayed. 
 
 
9. Update Succeeded will be displayed.

10. Turn the main unit power OFF. 
 
11. Remove the USB memory from the main unit USB port. 
* If the USB memory is not removed at this point, the next time the power is turned ON the firmware 
update will be performed again. Be sure to remove the USB memory. 
 
12. After turning the main power ON, start up as DSK firmware.
