The word “COPY” in the stamp copy function and the watermark function has 
been changed from “KOPIEREN” to “KOPIE” (Germany). 

2 Printer-related 

In MacOSX, when attribute data is printed from Freehand, a PS error would 
occur. This glitch has been corrected. 

3 Printer-related 

In the unit settings, if “Do not print white paper” is enabled (default: disabled) 
and the PCL5 driver is installed, when attempting double-sided printing on a 
document with an odd number of pages, 1 additional page would be counted. 
This glitch has been corrected.

Image transfer 

related 

When performing direct SMTP transfer, the header information of the source 
would be left blank. This glitch has been corrected. 

5 UI-related 

Executing hold without printing a print job, and after saving to the user folder, 
then in document filing when a thumbnail is displayed in the user folder, the 
screen would become completely white (except for the mode bar are the 
system bar). This glitch has been corrected. 

6 Language 

support  Brazilian Portuguese is now supported.

Main body control-
related 

When the low temperature limit (below 18°C) has been reached in ready 
mode, the fusing operation process will be now be stopped.

Trouble code 
related 

When the toner cartridge is changed after toner empty is detected, with 
detecting the output of the toner sensor the toner will be agitated for a set 
period and the “F2-40” trouble will be suppressed.

Job log related 

When “User authentication (internal)” and “Image confirmation of receiving 
data setting” are enabled, after the item “Received fax (output)” in the job 
log, the last logged-in user would be logged. This glitch has been corrected. 

10 Option 

related 

When external optional devices are connected, copy and print jobs would be 
counted, however, printing from document filing would not be counted. This 
glitch has been corrected. 

11 OSA 

related 

In OSA external authentication, continuous job queuing is disabled so that the 
number of sheets used can be counted accurately, which slows print speed. A 
software switch that allows the user to enable continuous job use has 
therefore been provided for users who do not wish to control paper use. 
 
Changes implemented to allow continuous job queuing to be enabled/disabled 
via a software switch.

OSA icon. This glitch has been corrected.

Using a card reader manufactured by Equitrac (keyboard input type) would 
cause the key buffer to become overloaded causing the card information to 
not be read correctly. This glitch has been corrected.
