COUNTERMEASURE FOR NO POWER DUE TO
DC POWER SUPPLY PWB TROUBLE

1. Model Name: MX-M264N/M314N/M354N/M264U/M314U/M354U

2. Symptom:
1. A damaged coil on the DC PWB (L207) will result in the blowout of a fuse preventing

    the power from turning on.

2. Incorrect insertion of CN7 to CN4 on the DC PWB will cause the Fuser Lamp to stay

on when the machine is powered off resulting in Fuser Damage.

3. Description:
1. Enhancement for the damage of the coil (L207) has been done by controlling the coil

(L207) of DC power supply PWB with Q value.

2. As a countermeasure for incorrect insertion of CN 7 to CN 4 a dummy housing has

    been added to CN4.

Q value: indicates the damage of coil (L207).    When Q value reaches the certain value

or less, the damage level of the coil (L207) increases and the heating value also
  increases.
