"COUNTERMEASURE FOR “E7-11” TROUBLE" released on October 31, 2014.
We found that the LED Driver PWB (CPWBN1964FCE3) which is the target for change
was not used for MX-M283N/M363N/M453N/M503N, MX-M282N/M362N/M452N/M502N
manufactured before August 2011. (Some were manufactured in August.)
We added cautionary statement to this report to let you know that among those listed as
target model, there are units not target for change depends on their production month.
1. Model Name:
MX-M365N/M465N/M565N, MX-M364N/M464N/M564N, MX-M904/M1054/M1204,
Minimal crack is generated at the base of the lead terminal of the capacitor (C1) due to
the external stress (production line) given to LED driver PWB and it causes the short
circuit in the capacitor, which may result in “E7-11” trouble.
3. Description: The size of capacitor (C1) of LED driver PWB has been changed from 3.2 x 2.5mm to
3.2 x 1.6mm to reduce the external stress.
Note: Please be informed that the LED driver PWB originally mentioned in this report
(CPWBN1964FCE3) is not used for MX-M283N/M363N/M453N/M503N,
MX-M282N/M362N/M452N/M502N manufactured before August 2011
(some manufactured in August, 2011) therefore; you cannot mount new parts
