1.Model Name: MX-LCX6 (Optional accessories for MX-M850/M950/M1100)
2.Symptom:
When an oversized capacity paper feed tray has run out of paper, a paper feed
base is to be pulled up to its uppermost position.
If the paper feed base keeps staying at that position under the condition of low
temperature and low humidity, a wire often becomes hard that could cause the
paper feed base to be horizontally slanted when it descends.
In such an occasion, it is possible that the slack of the wire suspending the paper
feed base could cause interference with other parts.
3.Description: Arranged for the paper feed base not to slant when it descends, the balance
(paper feed weight plates) has been added onto the back side of the paper feed
base.
Please refer to another sheet for the mounting instruction of the paper feed weight
plates.
4.Action: From February 2008 production

The mounting instruction of the paper feed weight plates
1. Fit the two paper feed weight plates with each other, then fasten them by a screw in
a screw hole.
2. Fit the combined paper feed weight plates on the back side of the paper feed base as
shown in picture below.
3. Secure the combined paper feed weight plates on the side of the paper feed base by
screws in the two screw holes.
4. Secure the combined paper feed weight plates by a screw from the front side of the
paper feed base through the screw hole added.
