1. Model Name: MX-LC13 (Optional paper feed tray for MX-6240N/7040N, MX-M904/M1054/M1204)
2. Symptom:
If the cassette is withdrawn without the jammed paper being removed, the tip
fixing plate R is lifted by the jammed paper and then it will be caught on the paper feed belt, which
may damage the paper feed belt. In the normal procedure to clear the jam, it is instructed to open
the front door of the vertical transport section and turn the knob for the jam clearance, and
therefore the paper feed belt will not be damaged as long as the jam is cleared in accordance with
the procedure.
3. Description: The shape of Regulate plate cover R 2500 and Tip fixing fulcrum plate R has been
modified not the Tip fixing plate R to be caught on the paper feed belt even if the cassette is
withdrawn without the jam paper being removed.
