* This punch unit is for MX-FNX5.
Separate the finisher from the copier when installing the punch
unit.

1. Unpacking
1)
Remove the protector plate with a red tag.
2. Installation
A. Installation of punch module
1)
Remove the Inner cover.
2)
Cut out the inner cover using a cutter and so on.
3)
Remove the rear cover.
4)
Remove the paper guide. (2 screws front and 2 screws rear)
5)
Attach the sensor arm. (1 screw) (A stepped screw)
* Please make sure that the sensor arm moves smoothly.

Attach a spring.

CAUTION
Switch the machine off and unplug the machine before starting the

Insert the punch unit and fix it with 2 screws.

Attach the spacer.

Attach the Punch unit knob. (1 screw)
10) The cover removed in step 1 can be installed now.
11) Connect the 3 connector as shown in the illustration.

12) Install the punch waste collection container.
13) Attach the rear cover.
