"F1-08" ERROR CAUSED BY AN OPERATION
LOCK OF THE STAPLER UNIT.

2. Symptom:
When the stapler unit of the saddle finisher (MX-FN10) moves back-and-forth between the
front side and rear side, the sliding may deteriorate and it causing the stapler unit to lock,
resulting in an "F1-08" error to occur.

3. Description:
To retain smooth movement, the type of grease that is applied to the shaft that the stapler unit
slides on has been changed.
Furthermore, the parts code for the new grease has been set. A separate notice will be issued.
For the market, when the above symptoms occur, apply the grease to the shaft according to
the separately provided procedure guide.
(Recoating the grease on top of the old type of grease will not create a problem.)
For details on the application procedure, refer to the separate sheet "Grease Application to the
Corner Shaft" for the procedure.
