HOW TO REMOVE THE “F1-37” ERROR
WHEN REPLACING THE FINISHER PWB

2. General:
The following is about handling the “F1-37” error that can occur just after replacing the finisher
PWB.
Replacing the finisher PWB is now what is causing the “F1-37” error, the error occurs for the
following reason.
(Reason for occurrence)
Memory on the finisher PWB holds finisher-adjusted value information and checksum values,
when the power is on, the adjusted value total and the checksum are compared and the
adjusted value is checked for correctness.
However, if the memory on the finisher PWB for servicing does not have the checksum value,
the “F1-37” will occur.
To make sure that there are no input errors in the finisher adjusted value, the “F1-37” error
occurs.

3. Measures:
When replacing the PWB, confirm the finisher adjusted value written on the finisher PWB and
then input this value into the new finisher PWB.

(1) Before replacing the finisher PWB, take note of each setting value from simulation 3-10
(finisher adjustment).
(2) After replacing the finisher PWB, input each of the values noted from simulation 3-10.
