Paper feed tray 2 size detection PWB

Detects the paper size.

Dehumidifying heater 1 

This is used to dehumidify inside of the tray.

Paper pickup roller (Paper feed tray 2)

Feeds paper to the paper feed roller.

Paper feed roller (Paper feed tray 2)

Feeds paper to the paper transport section.

Transport roller 1 (Drive)

Transports paper from the paper feed roller to the transport roller 2.

Transport roller 2

Reduce the load at the turning around place during transporting the paper.

Transport roller 1 (Idle)

Applies a pressure to paper and the transport roller to provide a transport power of the transport roller to paper.

Separation roller (Paper feed tray 2)

Separates paper to prevent double feed.

Greasing is not always necessary for every maintenance. In the following cases, check and grease.

- There are some noises.

- Many jams occur frequently. (Check the jam history.)

Cleaning of the paper feed and paper transport system sensors and detectors is not always necessary for every maintenance. In the following
case, check and clean. 

- A trouble or jam is generated because of the sensors or detectors. (Check the jam history.)

Torque limiter check or replacement is not always necessary for every maintenance. In the following cases, check and replace.

- There are some noises.

- Many jams occur frequently. (Check the jam history.)

Be sure to use ethanol for cleaning.

As a rough guide, these rollers should be replaced when 
tray paper feed counter reaches a value of 200K or when 
one year has elapsed since the start of use.

Pull out the paper feed tray, and lift it to remove.

1)

Remove the right front cabinet.

2)

Remove the right cabinet.

3)

Remove the rear cabinet.

4)

Remove the right-rear cabinet.

5)

Disconnect the connector, and remove the tray paper feed
unit.
