TECHNICAL BULLETIN
FIELD SUPPORT TO SOLVE ABNORMAL NOISE
AND PAPER JAM (AT TRAY 4 ETC.) DUE TO THE
HIGH LOAD ON DRIVE SECTION
AND PAPER JAM (AT TRAY 4 ETC.) DUE TO THE
HIGH LOAD ON DRIVE SECTION
1. Model Name:
MX-DE18 (Option for MX-M264N/M314N/M354N),
MX-DE11 (Option for MX-M260/M260N/M310/M310N),
AR-D31
(Option
for
AR-M256/M316)
2. Symptom:
If a bearing on Paper feed roller shaft located at rear side of 2nd frame on Double paper
feed tray tilts, the loading on drive section of second cassette gets too high and it may
generate abnormal noise (rasping sound) at second tray or paper jam (at Tray 4 etc.).
3. Field Action:
If above problem symptom has been observed with Double paper feed tray, replace the
bearings on driver section (at two locations).
Please refer to the attached for replacement procedure.
