Procedure: 

Adjust Primary Transfer current value (all colours). Increase by the increment of 10-
count Max：30  

 

*Please adjust electric current by Machine Adjustment or Paper Property instead of 
changing Sim8-6. The output value for Transfer is the value for which the adjustment 
by the respective Machine Adjustment or Paper Property is made on the value of 
Sim8-6. If the values of Sim8-6 are changed, the output values for all modes will be 
changed. 

 
 

Paper type:  

All 

Defect: 

Short white blurs occur at the rear end of paper proceeding direction. However, they 
disappear at the point of 50mm from the rear end.

Procedure: 

Adjust fusing motor speed settings and lower height of fuser entrance guide. 

 

Increase FSM value by the increment of 2-count Max： +10 count. 
This can be achieved for individual paper types using the “Paper Catalogue” 
Or for all paper types using SIM48-06. If changing FSM value is not effective, it is 
improved by lowering the fixing height of Fusing Paper Feed PG. 
 
Adjustment 10 

Paper type: 

All 

Defect: 

Long white blurs occur at the rear end of paper proceeding direction.

Procedure:

Adjustment 11 

Paper type: 

Glossy paper 

Defect: 

Gloss unevenness occurs in glossy paper.(Too much gloss)

Procedure: 

Adjust Fusing temperature setting and process speed setting.

 Change Fusing temperature. If it is not effective,

 Change paper type, then change fusing temperature and process speed.

Lower Fusing  temperature (MAX-20℃)

-1 Perform paper feeding with Plain(90~105g/cm² of Plain Paper Mode (Middle 

Speed). (Process Speed is increased compared with Glossy Paper) Glossy (heavy1 
weight) →  Plain(90~105g/ cm²）

-2 Perform paper feeding with Plain(55~89g/ cm²） of Plain Paper Mode (Middle 

Speed). (Process speed is increased and fusing temperature is decreased compared 
with Glossy Paper.) Glossy(heavy1 weight) →  Plain(55~89g/ cm²） 
 
Adjustment 12 

Paper type:  

Glossy Paper 

Defect: 

Gloss unevenness occurs in glossy paper. (Lack of gloss)

-2 Perform paper feeding with Glossy Paper (heavy3 weight or heavy4 weight). 

(Process speed is decreased and fusing temperature is increased compared with 
Glossy(106~176g/ cm²).) Glossy(106~176g/ cm²)  →  Glossy(221~256g/cm2 or
