B. Operational descriptions

Outline
Image data sent from the image process circuit are converted into
laser beams which are radiated to the surface of the OPC drum.
In this model, 4-laser system is employed where 4-laser diodes for
each color are radiated. The LSU unit is composed of the optical
element from laser to the polygon mirror, the primary system
including the mirror which assures light path, and the main scan-
ning system.

Skew adjustment screw
This screw is used to adjust the radiation angle of laser beams for the OPC drum. By turning this adjustment screw, 
the image skew can be adjusted.

When skew of lens unit is detected during Sim50-22 or “Auto color
registration adjustment, Skew adjustment motor corrects the skew.
