b. When the shift is in the rear side
To adjust the print line in the direction B from the paper center as
shown in the figure:
1)
Loosen two fixing screws (red screws) of the front/rear size
guide adjustment plate, and move the size guide adjustment
plate in the direction B (F side) by the shift amount, and tighten
the red fixing screws (2 for each). Restore the stopper to the
original position, and fix it with the fixing screws. Move the aux-
iliary guide in the direction B by the same size.
Check to insure that the stopper pawl is engaged with the stop-
per reception of the large capacity tray.
2)
Slowly insert the tray to the original position.
Then make a copy to check to insure that there is no more
shift. Repeat the procedures until there is no shift.

NOTE: The firmware of the MX-LCX3N must be upgraded for supporting high-speed printing.
1.  Unpacking
A. Remove the packing material and packing tape
B. Packed items check
2.  Installation
NOTE: Before installation, be sure to turn both the operation and
main power switches off and disconnect the power plug
from the power outlet. Make double sure that the data lamp
on the operation panel does not light up or blink when per-
forming installation.
A. Release the lock
1)
Manually pull out the cassette.
Push the shaft at the rear side of the front cabinet up to release
the lock.
2)
Remove the fixing screws (3 pcs.) of the paper feed table of
the LCC, and remove the cautionary note.
NOTE: Before turning on the power, check to insure that the
fixing screw of the tray is removed. If the power is
turned on without removing the fixing screw, a trouble
may be resulted.

B. Attach the mounting plate upper and the lower 
front/rear connecting plate
1)
Attach the mounting plates upper (Packed items) with the fix-
ing screw A (Packed items) to the installation part of right side
of the main unit. When installing, put the rubber section (
) of
the mounting plates upper on the lower side of each plate.
2)
Remove the fixing screws of the front/rear cover on the lower
part of the main unit. Attach the connecting plate lower front
(Packed items) to the lower front side of the main unit with the
fixing screw B (Packed items).
Attach the connecting plate lower rear (Packed items) to the
lower rear side of the main unit with the fixing screw B (Packed
items).
NOTE: Remove the front and rear covers, then remove the
screws (in the rear side only) as shown in the figure
below. (The removed screws are not used.)
3)
Remove the fixing screws (2 pcs.) of the machine entry port,
and remove the entry port cover.
4)
Reverse the entry port cover and re-attach it to the machine.
Secure it with the two previously removed screws in procedure
3).
NOTE: Be careful not to make a scratch for the paper pass
surface of entrance cover at the installation.
C. Installation to the main unit and height 
adjustment
1)
Use the edge of the connection plates F/R mounted to the
lower side of the machine and the mark on the mounting plate
in the lower left side of the LCC to check the installation height.

a. When the height is properly adjusted:
When connecting plates, front and rear, and mounting plates
are aligned to the center hash mark, install the positioning
plates (Packed items) and secure each with a screw B
(Packed items) to lock the LCX3N to the  machine.

b. When the height is not properly adjusted:
Use the adjustment device on the lower left side of the LCC to
adjust the height of the left caster section.

Loosen the hex washer based screws on the both ends of the
caster movable plate on the front and the rear sides.
<2>
Turn the adjustment screw behind the plate to adjust the 
height.
After adjustment tighten the screws on the both ends of the
caster movable plate which were loosened in the previous pro-
cedure.
NOTE: Adjust so that the marks on the left and the right sides
of the caster movable plate and the lead edge of the triangular
hole are at the same height.
