Now enter the IP address of the device in the format lpd://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx/lp
You can now select Sharp as the manufacturer of the print device.

Select the appropriate MX Product from the menu and select continue.
The printer has now been added to CUPS.

3. Configure printer options.
Browse to the main CUPS web page again and select manage printers. The printer you just created will now appear

Go to the installable options section and you can configure Desk, finisher etc features.
Your printer is now configured and ready for use.
