Remove the two fixing screws of the machine entry port, and
remove the entry port cover.
7)
Attach the entry port cover reversely to the machine and fix it
with the two fixing screws which was removed in procedure 3.
* When working, be careful to prevent damage of the paper
pass (transport) surface on the entry port cover.
8)
Release the lock, and open the right door.
9)
Install the upper cover, and fix with screws.
10) Close the right door.
C. Installation to the main unit and height 
adjustment
1)
Use the edge of the connection plates F/R mounted to the
lower side of the machine and the mark on the mounting plate
in the lower left side of the LCC to check the installation height.

a. When the height is properly adjusted:
When both the edges of the connecting plates on front and
rear are fit with the longest mark on the mounting plates each,
install the positioning plates (Package part No. 4) to the front
and the rear sides and fix them with the fixing screw B (Pack-
age part No. 7) (1 for each side).

b. When the height is not properly adjusted:
Use the adjustment device on the lower left side of the LCC to
adjust the height of the left caster section.

Loosen the hex washer based screws on the both ends of the
caster movable plate in the front and the rear sides.

Turn the adjustment screw above to adjust the height.
After adjustment with the adjustment screw, tighten the screws
on the both ends of the caster movable plate which were loos-
ened in the previous procedure.
NOTE: Adjust so that the marks on the left and the right sides
of the caster movable plate and the lead edge of the triangular
hole are at the same height.

Check the height in procedure C-1). If the height is not proper,
go to <2>. If the height is proper, install the positioning plates
to the front and the rear sides and fix them with the fixing
screws B (1 pc. for each side).

c. If the upper section of the LCC left side is locked first
and the positioning plate cannot be inserted :
<1>
Loosen the caster screw in the lower section of the LCC right
side.
<2>
Turn the adjuster to lower the LCC right side.
<3>
Tighten the caster screw.

Check the height in procedure 1). If the height is not proper,
separate the LCC (the procedure is described later) and go to
"b".
If the height is proper, install the positioning plates to the front
and the rear sides with fixing screws B.
Since the LCC may be moved by the paper weight
when closing the tray, the adjuster must be securely
on the floor.

Check to confirm that the upper section of the LCC left side is
locked.
After checking, lower the adjuster on the lower section of the
LCC right side until it does not rotate.

- When the upper side is not locked
Raise the adjuster on the lower side of the LCC right side until
the hole shown in the figure below comes at the center, and
check that it is locked.
* If lock is incomplete, when the power switch is turned on, the
message, "Check installation of tray 5" is displayed on the
operation panel.

Check that the right caster section is grounded.
Loosen two screws on the lower side of the LCC right side,
ground the caster on the floor, and tighten the screws.
2)
Installation of the left front cabinet
Engage the pawls of the left front cabinet (Package part No. 5)
with the five square holes in the left front side of the LCC, and
press the left front cabinet and fix with the fixing screw C
(Package part No. 8) (1 pc.).
