2. Symptom: 

By removing jammed paper from the fusing unit the side of the paper can, in some rare cases, 
degrade the web roller sheet. 
If the web roller sheet is degraded, it is possible that it could become wound upon the outer 
heat roller. 

 
3. Description: 

For the above models with the breaking mechanism of both MX-3500/4500 series web roller 
sheet added, the following method is to prevent the web roller sheet from becoming wound 
upon the degraded outer heat roller. 
Web brake collar A, web brake collar B, and web brake gum installation is required. 
The installation locations and method is the same for both the MX-3500 series and the MX-
4500 series.
