2. Symptom: 

 

  The location where the 2nd belt tension spring of a 2nd belt transfer frame is installed may 

be damaged. 
If this glitch occurs, the pressure welding between the 2nd transfer belt and 1st transfer 
belt becomes uneven. This may result in image unevenness. 

 
3. Description: 

 

  To increase the strength of the location where the 2nd belt tension spring of the 2nd belt 

transfer frame is installed, we have changed the shape of the location where the 2nd belt 
tension spring is installed.

Identifying old and new 2nd belt transfer frames (whether there is a gap as shown above 
or change of the marking from H123 to H1234 as shown below) 
 

 

 

 

 
4. Action:   

 

From mid-May 2008 production
