While reconnecting to the server with support for passive mode after failing to the 
connection in active mode, the communication was not allowed for a while depends on 
the server. In that case, the data transmission to FTP site was not allowed until the 
recovery. A Soft SW has been added as a countermeasure so that the connection in 
passive mode is allowed in the first place.

Sometime data output failed after experiencing a Fax communication error "16-0030". 
This problem has been corrected.

If original data were scanned after defining the original as an inch-based size, the job 
ended up with a page size error depend on application. This problem has been 
corrected. 

4 Printer 

Print failure occurred that for example, sometime the logo mark was not printed properly 
if particular data were printed vial PCL5 driver. This problem has been corrected.

Main unit control 

If a paper tray got empty during subsequent job while performing multiple jobs in series, it 
switched to another tray automatically even when Auto Switching of Tray was disabled. 
This problem has been corrected. 

6 Specification 

Modification of F6-00. The symptoms listed below appeared after switch on a machine or 
while recovering from 1W power-save mode: 
 
- Fax job is prohibited, even though other jobs are allowed. 
- F6-00 error is displayed on any screen other than Home screen. 
- Display of F6-00 error is cleared by pressing OK key, but it is displayed again at the 
timing of auto-clear.   

7 Specification 

Implementation of modification for E7-03 which occurred if PIO command (standby 
command) failed even once.

Main unit control 

A new Simulation mode has been developed to conform to new standard of "Blue Angel" 
(eco-label for Germany). The check box for Auto power shut off mode is not displayed 
when this mode is enabled that machine enters Auto power shut off mode at any time.
