2. Description: 
To improve commonality of parts, the separator pawl unit of the 1st transfer unit has been 
changed to a separator pawl unit that is used in other models. Because of this change, the 
separator pawl has been changed from 4 types to 1 type. 
 
(Remarks) 
By installing this separator pawl unit, the first transfer belt may become striped by the 
separator pawl track. 
(There are cases when the machine is loaded from the factory and this striping occurs.) 
However, these stripes will not show in image printing, and will have no effect on the service 
life of the transfer belt. The belt can be used in this condition until its regularly scheduled 
maintenance.

- Mounting method for the modified separator pawl unit 
 
1. Set the end of the separator pawl unit in the holes on the CJ transfer front frame. 
Insert bosses in the holes on the front and rear side. 
2. Secure two blue M4-12 screws (LX-BZ1098FCZZ) to location (1) first and then location 
(2). 
3. Secure a blue M4-10 screw (LX-BZ0676FCZZ) to location (3).
