New ARPE1 System Software Patch
“1-1SAFH”

Overview:
A new System Software patch named “1-1SAFH” is now available for the
ARPE1. This patch can be installed on top of both the ARC150 v1.10 and
ARC250 v1.0 system software.

This patch must not be installed on an ARPE1 that has the old ARC150
system software v1.0, v1.01, v1.02 or v1.03.

Benefits:
The benefits of upgrading are:

An “Option Not Available” message could previously be displayed on the
copier LCD panel when a print job was sent to the specifically selected

The new ARPE1 system software patch is available from the
Copier-ARPE1
area of the Sharp Technical web. New ARC150 (v6) & ARC250 (v4) copier
firmware is also now available and can be found in the

How to upgrade this System Software patch.
•
Obtain the patch file from the Sharp Technical Web.
•
Use the Fiery Downloader program to download the patch file to the
ARPE1

•
Wait until the patch file has been spooled and ripped.
•
Power down the ARPE1 and re-boot the system.
•
Print a Configuration sheet from the ARPE1 and confirm that the Update
Information section of the sheet displays “1-1SAFH”.
