MAIN FEATURES
Rapid printing of up to 16 (AR-160/161) or 20 (AR-200S/200/205) pages per
minute
The 133MHz high-speed RISC processor achieves fast printing of a maximum of 16 (AR-160/161) or 20
(AR-200S/200/205)  pages per minute (A4 printed on one side).
Smoothing function ensures 1200dpi-equivalent, high-quality resolution
The smoothing function allows high-resolution printing equivalent to 1200dpi. (Basic resolution is 600dpi or
300 dpi)
PCL6 compatible
This printer is compatible with the printer control language PCL6 from Hewlett-Packard.
For use in network environments
This printer can be used in a network environment by installing the optional print server card.
Memory expansion to a maximum of 136MB
The standard 8MB memory can be expanded up to 136MB by loading two extension DIMM slots with
commercially available memory modules (16MB, 32MB, or 64MB sizes).
Optional job separator tray kit
If the optional job separator tray kit is installed, the printed copy is output on this tray, preventing copy
and print jobs from being mixed.

The AR-PB8 Printer Expansion Kit adds printing capability to the AR-series digital copiers (AR-160/
161/200S/200/205). Note that this manual refers to any AR-series machine in which the AR-PB8
Printer Expansion Kit has been installed simply as the "printer".
This operation manual describes only printer features. For information about copier
functions, maintenance, and related topics, refer to the copier operation manual.
