Release of ARPB2a Drivers

Overview:
Sharp are pleased to announce the release of an upgrade to the ARPB2a
software.
This release contains CD ver 1.2 with the following updated print drivers &
utilities;
•
 
PCL5e, PCL6, and PS2 (Version 5) printer drivers
•
 
Windows 2000 PCL5e, PCL6, and PS2 printer drivers
•
 
Printer Administration Utility v2.5
•
 
Status Monitor v2.1
Known Fixes:
•
 
Unable to print multiple help files when using the NT PS driver
•
 
Postscript errors when printing some PDF files using the NT PS driver.
•
 
Excel graphs may print with spurious extra lines when using the NT PCL6
driver.
•
 
Large print files from Acrobat when using the NT PS driver.
•
 
Unable to print from a Terminal Server terminal.  This fix also requires
that the Terminal Server has Service pack 6 installed.
•
 
If the plug and play feature of Windows 2000 installation is used to install
a printer driver from the CD, the Swedish version of the driver is installed.
•
 
When installing the drivers from the CD using the integrated installer, the
only port available was LPT1.
•
 
Shared Windows 95/98 drivers on a Windows 2000 server would not auto
download to the client workstation.
•
 
Selection of both “Pamphlet mode” and “different first page” was allowed
in all the printer drivers, even though this is not supported and all pages
were drawn from one tray.
