6. Select (Generic) PCL and Novell Port Handler, and then click on OK (if using Postscript
select (Generic)PS.
7. Select Remote (LPR on IP). Click on Next.
8. Enter the IP Address that was assigned to the copier. Type in the Printer Name as
PORT1 (this must be in all Capital letters). Then click on Finish.

9. A wait message appears while the printer agent loads.
Note: If you receive a message stating that the printer needs attention, click on OK and go

12. The Printer Agent will load and your printer will be listed as an object.
This completes the Novell Setup portion. The next step is to install the printer drivers on the

1. From the Start menu in Windows 95/98 go to Settings and then Printers.
2. In the Printers dialog box, double-click Add Printer:
