Oct’03. First lot release for AR-NB2 (for Pegasus product range only). For operation of the Network Expansion Kit, the
             MCU firmware for the Pegasus machine must be 01.04 or higher. Pegasus IMC firmware must also be 01.01 or
              higher.

Jan’04. To enhance the commonality with new products, the product name has been changed to AR-NB2N.
             AR-NB2N is compatible with Pegasus and Jaguar II product ranges.

June’04. Unified firmware version released to include a non-UK model.

APRIL’04. To wake up machine from energy save mode when print job is sent.

Jan’05. When PC is connected to the digital copier via USB, the PC may not recognize the copier

  After updating of AR-NB2 / AR-NB2N firmware, verify correct installation by taking a

Printer Settings list on the copier – press and hold the small black button on the side of
the AR-NB2 or AR-NB2N for 5 seconds. The Printer Settings list will indicate the
currently installed firmware as ‘PRT’.

  To check MCU firmware version currently installed in the Pegasus-series machine, use

Simulation 22-14. When this simulation is entered, the MCU program version will be
displayed on the copier’s counter display – eg. for the case of the production level
firmware, the copier counter display will show ‘01’, and then ‘03’. The zoom ratio LED
indicates ‘141’ when the MCU firmware version is being displayed.

To display the optional AR-EB7’s firmware version (given in the Maintenance program
as ‘IMC2’), press the zoom ratio ‘down’ key – the zoom ratio LED should indicate ‘115’,
and the IMC2 program version will be shown on the copier’s counter display. Note that
this program version can only be updated / will only be displayed when the AR-EB7 is
installed and connected. To switch back to the MCU program display, press the zoom
ratio ‘up’ key.

The display will continue to cycle until the ‘CA’ key is pressed.
