2.General:
We have introduced a friction-reducing powder as a service part item for the purpose of
reducing friction and to decrease the thickness of the OPC layer on both sides of the
photoconductive drum when the drum and the side seals F/R are replaced.
3.Description:
When the photoconductive drum and the side seals F/R are replaced, friction is
generatedand the OPC layer on both sides of the drum becomes thinner. To reduce such
friction and decrease in the thickness of the OPC layer, friction-reducing powder (UKOG-
0809FCZZ) will be applied equally over the side seals F/R using a microspatel UKOG-
0311FCZZ.
