2. Symptom
In rare cases the rubber of the oil roller can be displaced in the direction of the axis
because of the rubber shrinking, which causes a cleaning failure on the pressure roller
ends. To reduce this type of failure the following enhancement has been implemented.
3. Description
The materials of the rubber have been changed to increase the strength of adhesion to
the core shaft.
The oil roller included in the maintenance kit AR-700KC has been replaced with the new
type.  On the updated maintenance kits, the blue dot label in the upper right corner of the
lot number has been deleted and the letter ‘A’ has been added to the right of the lot
number.
The maintenance kits will be revised from the October 2004 production.
Increase adhesion strength of the oil roller to the core
shaft.
