FILINGFOLDERPATH: Filing Directory Path Setting 

When the “FILING” command is ” PERMANECE”, to specify which file to 
save the data, “FILINGFOLDERPATH” is defined. 

 

PJL SET Command Parameter

l  When you specify “DIR1” directory, which is the user folder:

@PJL SET FILINGFOLDERPATH = “*standard” <CR><LF> 

FILINGFOLDERPASSWORD: Password to a Filing Directory Setting 

When the “FILING” command is ” PERMANECE” and you need a 
password to access the folder specified with ”FILEINGFOLDERPATH”, to 
tell the password, parameter, “FILEFOLDERPASSWORD” is defined. 

PJL SET Command Parameter

Only 32-digit string is valid as key. 

 

FRONTCOVER: Front Cover Setting 

To tell whether front cover is set or not, and tell 2-sided or 1-sided,

GANGING: Multiple Bundles Setting at the Pamphlet Process   

To specify whether the machine stacks many bundles or not, “GANGING” 
is defined.

Execute pamphlet process with one

When this command is not specified, default is SINGLE.

GANGINGNUMBER: Specify Bundles at Pamphlet Process 

When you specify the process that stacks and binds many bundles, to direct 

the number of sheets that the machine executes the center folding and the 

staple process, GANGINGNUMBER” is defined. 

Only when GANGING command is ”MULTI” and PAGEIMAGEINFO 

is ”PAMPHLET”, this specification is enabled.

This shows that center folding and staple process are executed from the first to 
(last-1)th bundle every 10 sheets. As for the last bundle, center folding and 
staple process are automatically executed to the range from 0 sheet to 9 
sheets. 
 
(Example 2) 

＠PJL SET GANGINGNUMBER = “#1$10#4$9” 

This shows that center folding and staple process are executed from the first to 
third bundle every 10 sheets, and that center folding and staple process are 
executed from fourth bundle to (last-1)th bundle every nine sheets. As for the 
last bundle, center folding and staple process are automatically executed to the 
range from 0 sheet to 9 sheets.

HALFTONEENHANCE: Printing Image Control 

To tell that a halftone of print image is enhanced, “HALFTONEENHANCE” 

is defined.

INSERTSHEET: Transparency Inserts Setting 

To specify what number of pages is set as transparency inserts, 

“INSERTSHEET” is defined.

To specify many pages, use a space as the separator.   

Or, execute the description, dividing the command to many lines. 

(Example)
