MARGINSHIFT: Margin Shift Setting 

To set the margin at the side to combine, "MARGINSHIFT” is defined. 

 

PJL SET Command Parameter

Set margin to 0 – 65535 dots.   

If this command is omitted, Dragon operates as 0 dots are specified to an 

argument. 

If the dot except 0 is specified, print the image that shifted the specified 

dots from the bind standard.   

 

OUTTRAY: Paper Output Position Setting 

To specify the output destination, ”OUTTRAY is defined. The printer driver 
software can control paper output tray number only. If the setting of this 
parameter is not executable by the Dragon printer, this conflict is resolved 
by the printer itself. The printer driver software sends the command head 
of each print job.

PAGEIMAGEINFO: Created Image Information 

To tell the image information created by a driver to the controller, 

“PAGEIMAGEINFO” is defined. 

This command is saved as an image. When user reuses the image, it is 

used as the information to identify what document image it is or by what 

style the controller permits the re-use.

When controller side executes 
pamphlet process, it is not 
applied.)   

When this information doesn’t exist, the page information is treated as 

1-up.

PAPERTYPE: Paper Type Setting   

To tell what type of paper a print job is printed on, “PAPERTYPE” is 

defined.

PRINTID: ID for Test Print Job (Font List, or Configuration Page, and so on.) 

To distinguish the print job created at the system from the print job from 

external, ”PRINTID” is defined.

If multiple copies set at COPIES are specified, to specify Collate output or 
Uncollate output, this command is used.

“Image scale down” is to scale down or print the print image into the specified 

paper in ESC/P emulation.   

To set values of the image scale down item, a parameter “SCALEDOWN” 
of PJL SET/DEFAULT command is defined.
