Copy lamp illumination malfunction (short circuit, improper installation).
Installation of the flat cable to the CCD unit has not been carried out
properly.
Connection malfunction of the CL lead wire for the copy lamp.
The mirrors, lens, and or standard white plate are dirty.
The copy lamp power supply output is not correct.
The CCD unit is not installed properly.
The CCD unit is malfunctioning.
The SCANNER PWB is malfunctioning.
Confirmation
and action.
Clean the mirrors, lens, and standard white plate.
Check the illumination light quantity of the copy lamp (Sim. 5-3).
Check the CCD unit.
Check the SCANNER PWB.

Details.
Punch DUST sensor detection trouble.
When detection by the punch DUST sensor cannot be carried out properly.

SRAM memory check sum error in the MFPC.
Cause.
SRAM malfunction.
Runaway control circuit due to noise.
SRAM access circuit malfunction on the ICU PWB.

switch, etc.
Recovery is impossible because the content of the register has been
deleted.
Reset the U2 trouble using Sim. 16.
